In lockdown 2020 everything stopped and I thought - this is my only chance, the only chance I'll ever get to write that novel - so that's exactly what I did. This then turned into The Gyre. In the podcast I really get a chance to play with sound (go to our Facebook page for more information)
So once I wrote the novel - I thought Phew! all done - great. But then about two weeks later I thought - but what happens when the generation of kids who were born on Triton grow up. What happens then? What would they be like? What would they make of us? And that set me off on a whole other story which turned out to be The Gyre. We began with a group of road protesters tried to stop the bypass being built. They failed and trees got cut down. They regrouped and decided to just leave. They built a floating city that could be out on the ocean and never have to come back to the land. 25 years later, the generation who were born and raised on the floating city decided to make contact with the world their parents left behind.
Here's a link to the Gyre YouTube channel - Series 1. You'l find series 2 and 3 there as well.
It’s very poetic, it has a tense atmosphere, slightly creepy which is great!

I was captivated by The Gyre from the first chapter. My mind swirls with anticipation as I listen to what the Gyre are able to do. KWONJINN masterfully keeps me guessing as he narrates a blockbuster movie akin to Avatar.

I love the mixture of your voice and background sound effects. I love fantasy so this is right up my street. The imagery is strong and the story is brilliant

The Gyre is gripping and compelling. I love the quality of your voice.
